KIKI SMITH

A very diverse artist working in many types of media including printmaking, drawing, painting, textiles and sculpture. Smith often uses the body “as a receptacle for knowledge, belief and storytelling. She incorporates animals, mythology and narratives from folk tales. Life, death and resurrection are thematic signposts in many of Smith’s installations and sculptures.”

JASON DeCAIRES TAYLOR
A sculptor that installs his work underwater. His figures are life size casts of real people, often made from the indigenous populations in the many parts of the world in which he works. His sculptures are also designed to become coral reefs as organisms attach themselves over time.
